11/23/09 – Tabata

ANNOUNCEMENT – We will have a modified schedule on Thursday and Friday. We are thinking of having two workouts each day in the late morning. Maybe 10:30am and 11:30am both days.  Please post to the comments section what times work for you on Thursday and Friday.

Today’s Schedule

  • Mobility Warm up
  • Skill Work – Deadlift – Work up to a heavy set of 5
  • WOD – Tabata Something Else
    • Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises. Post total reps to comments

  2. Tim, thanks for taking me through fundamentals class. I am ready to start full time membership tonight! Tabatas are brutal, but at least there aren’t any burpees.

    A Thanksgiving workout sounds great. 10:30 should work well for me.

  3. Either is fine on Thursday/Friday. I get out early on Wednesday, so I’ll try to make it to the noon…!

  4. ONE QUESTION— Will we be watching the Thanksgiving day parade during the workout because I have never missed one parade! Also, I will bring frozen Hungry Man Turkey dinners for everyone to enjoy with a good ole 40 of Old E!!! Happy Turkey Day Crossfit 908!!

    Out of town for thursday/friday. Wednesday at noon is on like Donkey Kong though.
