There have been some really great results on the Paleo Challenge so far, and it has only been three weeks!  Some people have lost between 5-10lbs already, and most importantly they are feeling good!  I don’t know if weight loss was my goal coming into this challenge, but I am up nearly 3lbs since the weigh in.  I was following a Paleo-like diet prior to this challenge, but now I’ve cut out a lot more carbs and replaced them with enormous amounts of fat.  I estimate that I might be eating over 200 grams of fat per day. I am also eating much larger portions of protein.  All in all I am probably taking in more calories than before.  I think I am going to cut back on the amount of fat I am ingesting and add some fruit.  In addition I am going to try and watch my portion size over the next two weeks.  I’ll report back at the end of the challenge.
