01/16/12 – Nutrition Challenge Starts Today!

Time to Weigh In.  No shoes.  Make sure I have your weight before Friday.  You will start posting your points in Tuesday’s comments section for Monday.  Please ask any questions in the comments section so everyone can see the answers.  i’m so excited to see the challengers change!  Heads up for all those not looking to lose weight.  There will be a strength challenge coming soon!

Today’s Schedule –

  • Mobility Warm Up
  • Back Squat – 10-8-6-4-2 – Starting @ 75% of 1RM and finishing @ 90%+
  • WOD – 10-20-30
    • Goblet Reverse Lunge (2 fo’ 1)
    • Kettlebell Swing
    • Hand Release Burpees
  • Accessory – Hollow Hold – 90 seconds total
  • Stretch

  1. So excited to DOMINATE the challenge!
    Tim: Is honey allowed? Agave? Are we allowed that tablespoon of heavy cream in coffee?

  2. 1.) 1 tbsp of heavy cream per day is allowed.
    2.) No adding sugar to anything, so honey and agave are NOT allowed.
    3.) No Gum of any kind for the challenge.

  3. Truvia is not allowed either. No added sweeteners includes anything you are going to think of to make something sweet. HOWEVER, using fruits or juice that is 100% fruit in things like a pork roast are completely fine.

  4. Well done T Kal. I made garlic chicken with spaghetti squash. Sorry for all those standing near me tomorrow. I think 85% dark chocolate grows on you much like 60 reverse goblet lunges do 😉
