02/01/12 – CF 908 / Yoga Event!

CrossFit 908ers!  Registration for the 2012 CrossFit Open starts today!  We encourage everyone to sign up for the Open.  It is a series of five online workouts released each week for five weeks.  It will be our Wednesday workout of the day during those five weeks.  It was a lot of fun last year.  You get to complete workouts that some of the fittest people in the world are doing!  In addition, for those who are looking to compete, we will have a competition hour on Wednesday nights from 6-7pm.  During this time athletes who wish to compete for regionals will complete the workout of the week and will be judged by another individual, and their score will be validated by CrossFit 908.  It is a great way to build our family at CrossFit 908 and support the broader CrossFit community.

Happy Birthday to Greg K. today!

Lululemon Athletica Springfield Avenue, in conjunction with CrossFit 908 and Trepta Yoga, are pleased to announce a CrossFit meets Yoga event held at CrossFit 908 on Saturday, 02/25 from 6-9pm.  Our very own Emmy will be DJing this event.  The event will include a CrossFit workout, a full hour of Yoga, and some amazing music.  Come prepared to work hard, meet some great people, and have a super healthy Saturday night.  That is until we go out after!  We are looking for this to be a big event, so 908ers make sure you show up and represent!

  1. Happy Bday, Greg!! And, keep up the great work all you challenge peeps!! It takes a lot of dedication to do what you’re all doing, and I’m proud of all of you!! xoxo

  2. Anyone see the Biggest Loser last night ? Bob Harper has “discovered” CrossFit, and had his team do “Fran”. They even talked about their WOD… Wonder what sponsor Planet Fitness think of this, anyone doing dropping barbells in one of their purple gyms would have been thrown out.

    1. Until I started running on treadmills in my socks the Planet Fitness I used to go to tolerated my shenanigans. This includes dropping deadlifts.
