On Saturday, May 13, we will be hosting a partner competition (1 Male / 1 Female) @ CrossFit 908.  We will have Rx and Scaled divisions.  Registration is live.  We will be announcing the workouts over the next couple of days.  We already have a few teams from 908 signed up!  The competition is co-hosted by Two Roads Brewing Company, and there will be an after party at the Stirling Hotel.  We will need judges and volunteers, so if you don’t want to compete, please help us out by signing up to volunteer!

Saturday, March 25th will be the last CrossFit Open workout of 2017.  We plan to have a little celebration at the gym to “Close the Open.” We were thinking it would be fun to do a potluck style party.  People can bring an item of food or drink.  Erin and I were planning to bring some pulled pork and either some cider or beer.  We posted about the party in the CrossFit 908 Community page on Facebook.  If you plan to bring something, it would be great if you can post it in the group.  It will be very casual so no need to go crazy.  If we end up not having enough food Erin and I will order pizzas.

In addition, a new tenant in the same complex as 908, will be at the gym on Saturday before the Open workout offering Thai-Yoga massage and Kinesio Taping for $20 for 20 minutes.  The name of the business is Body Restoration and the practitioners are Doreen and Jay.  They will have a table set up in the gym.  If you would like to get worked on, please plan to show up around 8:30am.  If you are interested in getting taped or massage please email [email protected].

Lululemon Athletica Short Hills will also be at CrossFit 908 to introduce Nulux, their new naked sensation, cardio based fabric, and to help close The Open with a bang! They will be there Saturday, March 25 from 7:30am – 1pm. You’ll have an opportunity to try Nulux products on and purchase if you wish!

    • Teams of 3 – Max Calorie Assault Bike rotating every 20 seconds
  • Rest 5 min
  • Part C – AMRAP8
    • 40 Double Unders (Sx = :30 attempts or 80 singles)
    • 20 Wall Balls (Sx = 14#/10# – Rx = 20# to 10ft / 14# to 9ft)
  • Finisher – Collect a total of 1 min in a handstand hold
