The Amber Pizzo Memorial 5K and Fitness Walk honors the memory of a young teacher who died after being struck by an automobile driven by a drunk driver. Amber was a committed advocate for the educational needs of our youth who will be our leaders tomorrow. The Foundation in her name seeks to continue the work Amber began but was unable to finish after her life was suddenly and tragically ended. The Foundation assists in developing and funding peer leadership and educational programs with Union County as well as sponsoring efforts to reduce alcohol related fatalities throughout New Jersey.
The event will be held on July 15, 2012. Please come out and support this great cause.
