11/10/16: Yoursday

The Skill of The Month for November will be kipping.  We will be showing you all how to properly utilize your hips and shoulders in the kip, and how kipping translates into pull ups, toes to bar, and muscle ups.  If you are interested in learning how to kip, see one of your coach’s today and they would be happy to show you.  Here is a intro to kipping video.  As a caveat, shoulder health is crucial to even starting to think about kipping.  If you know you have some shoulder issues it would be best to avoid kipping.  If mobility is your issue, the coaches would be happy to give you some mobility drills to work on.

Today is Thursday Yoursday, which means all classes are set up like open gym.  You can use the hour long class to work on a skill, make up a missed workout, work on mobility, lift, or just enjoy the ambiance.  We will be programming additional squatting on Thursdays and Sundays.  Bottom line, enjoy the day.  Do some stuff you need to work on, and do some stuff you love.
