Today we are hosting a benefit WOD for Unicef. Our good friend and member of CrossFit 908, Pita Sarkar, will be trekking and summiting Mount Kilimanjaro on January 20, 2014, to benefit the UNICEF Tap Project to provide proper hygeine and clean water for millions around the world. She will be visiting surrounding regions in Turkana and Nairobi, Kenya who have benefited from the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) program set up by UNICEF and the Government of the Netherlands.
ALL are welcome, not just CrossFit 908 members. Expect an awesome team workout, and don’t be surprised if you see some rope climbs (there will be modifications for those who cannot rope climb)!
Registration for the WOD is FREE, but we encourage you to donate towards Pita’s fundraiser. 908 members, you will not be charged for this class. We cleared out all prior reservations due to changing the format of Saturday’s class, so please make sure you preregister again. Please click here to donate and to learn more about Pita’s upcoming journey. 100% of the funds raised on Pita’s Crowdrise page go to UNICEF. Thank you for your support!
