03/06/13: Welcome, Coach Kevin!

Many of you have already met Coach Kevin as he has been shadowing classes and team-coaching for the past several months and most recently coaching his own classes.  Kevin is a fantastic addition to the team and brings a diversified knowledge background when it comes to fitness.  You can read Kevin’s bio HERE.  Please join me in congratulating and welcoming Kevin to the 908 family!

CF Open – Tonight @ 8pm EST the first workout of the 2013 CrossFit Open will be announce.  Subsequently, two of CrossFit’s most ridiculous male athletes, Dan Bailey and Scott Panchik, will be going head-to-head on the workout.  Make sure to check it out.  No matter what is thrown at these two guys, they’ll be impressive.  Make sure to sign up before it is too late!

  • Strength – 5×5 Strict Pull Ups – Use weight if possible
  • WOD – 21-15-9 reps for time of
    • Deadlift (Sx = 115/75# – Rx = 185#/115# – C-Rx = 225#/155#)
    • Burpees
  • Finisher – 3 x 20 Hip Extensions
