09/09/12 – Weekly Update

Artwork/Flyers/Promo Stuff – 908ers, I am looking for someone who can create flyers that can be used either for the website or for printing.  I am looking for someone who has the artistic and technical capacity to create these types of items quickly, and have an idea of how to integrate them in our website/gym.  Our good friends at Brazen do a great job with their graphics and artwork on their website.  Check out this flyer for their paleo challenge. I am offering a free membership for these services, but you gotta be good! Please email [email protected] if you are interested.

908’s 3rd Birthday Party – Saturday, Oct 13 @ 8pm at CrossFit 908.  As always, please bring something to eat or drink. If you are planning on bringing food, please bring paleo if convenient because it will be during the nutrition challenge, but nonpaleo is welcome as well. Please bring all food in a disposable container! Drinks are always welcome, considering the shear amount of alcohol we end up going through at one of our parties!

CPR/AED – If you missed the last certification class, we are offering two AHA Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED certification class this coming week and next. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be certified in Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED and First Aid. If you are interested, please choose from one of the following classes.

Class 1: Wednesday, September 12th and September 19th from 8 PM-10 PM

Class 2: Sunday, September 16th from 3 PM-6 PM

In order to host the class, a minimum of 4 people need to be registered. Registration is $65 for a non-member and $55 for a CrossFit 908 member. Email Heather ([email protected]) if you would like to sign up and indicate which class you’d like to attend.

*All CPR cards from the previous class will be delivered to the gym on September 12th. At that time, you will be able to purchase pocket masks.
