10/04/12: Garage Games Practice Day

Today is a great day for competitors and those curious what the Garage Games will be like to try one of the workouts from the Garden State Open.  They are the following…

  1. WOD – One mile run, 30 Deadlifts (225#/155#), 50 Box Jumps (24″/20″)
  2. WOD – Increasing ladder.  Every 50 seconds complete 5 burpees + 1 clean + 1 snatch.  RX men start @ 115# and RX ladies start @ 65#.  Men increase by 10# each minute.  Ladies increase by 5# each minute.  Power or Squat variations allowed.
  3. WOD – 50 Wall Balls (20#/14#), 40 Overhead Reverse Lunge Steps (45/25), 30 Thrusters (95/65)
  • Additional Cardo Today – 15min row + 15 min run – Moderate/consistent pace

    All of these workouts can be scaled down.  Give one of them a try!
