Today is the first day of classes in the new gym. We hope that you all enjoy the new space. It has been a long time coming, but we are finally here!
Some major congratulations are in order for all of the 908ers who competed this weekend. For many of you this was your first event, which is a feat in itself. Final scoring for all competitors is still being finalized, but we know for certain that 908 men swept the scaled division with Juan G. in 1st, Chris P. in 2nd, and Matt G., in 3rd. Congrats guys! Emmy Simpkins won the Women’s RX’d division, and it was her first individual competition! There are a number of other people who had notable performances, but I will hold off until scores are finalized. Regardless of how you all placed, Erin and I wanted to say that we are so very proud that you are all a part of CrossFit 908. You are sincerely a fantastic bunch of people.
- Strength – As promised – EMOM10 – 2 Back Squats @ 85% of your 1RM (Max 10 min to get to starting weight. Max 2 people per bar. Work with someone where weight changes will be minimal)
