11/06/17: Congrats Matt and Tom!

Congratulations to Matt B. and Tom M. on winning the Nutrition Challenge.  Matt and Tom showed incredible dedication to the challenge with a near perfect score.  In addition, Matt and Tom lost a combined 55lbs in the six-week challenge and 7% and 14% of their body weight respectively.  Honorable mentions go out to Todd G, Mark G, Chris G, Michael W, Karen G, and Jackie T. who lost on average 5% of their bodyweight.  It was an extremely successful challenge, but we are always looking to improve the next one.  If you have any comments or suggestions please let us know!

Today’s Workout:

  • Skill – Every 90 seconds x 10 rounds complete the following
    • 1 High Hang Clean + 1 Hang Clean + 1 Clean – Start @ 70% of 1RM.  Focus is on technique and speed.  Only increase if we are moving well.
  • Conditioning – 3 Rounds For Time – 15 min time cap – “Around the Whirled”
    • 75 Double Unders (Sx = 150 Single Unders OR 2 min attempts)
    • 25 Medicine Ball Cleans (Sx = 20#/14# – Rx = 35#/25# – CRx = 50#/35#)
  • Finisher – 3 x 20 Banded Lat Pull Down with PVC / 20 Good Mornings with Plate
