11/13/12: YOGA

Calling all “Yoga Virgins”!
Have you ever wanted to try yoga?
Well, here’s your chance to give it a shot!
Karen Kelly has recently completed a Yogafit Level 1 certification program and is offering a series of free yoga classes to members of the Crossfit 908 family as part of her certification requirements.
The sessions will be held at 908 twice a week on “off-hours” and will only be offered to those who have either never taken yoga or have tried yoga only a few times…..in other words, beginners only, please!
Classes will be capped at 15 people and will run approximately an hour in length and will be offered twice a week. The routine will change weekly. The first two classes will be offered on Sunday, November 18th at 10:30 a.m. and Tuesday, November 20th at 7:40 p.m. Future dates to be determined. (No Fundamentals that Tuesday night)

  • Mobility – Foam Roll Lats + Lacrosse Ball Tricep
  • Strength – 3 x 8 Strict Pull Up (Add weight if possible)
  • WOD – 5 Rds For Total Reps
    • 1 min – Row (For Calories)
    • 1 min – Dumbbell Push Press (40#/25#)
    • 1 min – Abmat Sit Ups
  • Accessory – Plank – 2 minute on each side

  1. For anyone interested in the yoga classes… you can come for any or as many of the classes that are offered. The routine will be the same for the midweek and weekend class and then change slightly the following week as new poses are introduced. I really look forward to working with you!
