12/18/13: Climb for Clean Water Benefit WOD

A good friend and member of CrossFit 908, Pita Sarkar, will be trekking and summiting Mount Kilimanjaro on January 20, 2014, to benefit the UNICEF Tap Project to provide proper hygeine and clean water for millions around the world. She will be visiting surrounding regions in Turkana and Nairobi, Kenya who have benefited from the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) program set up by UNICEF and the Government of the Netherlands.

We will be hosting a benefit WOD for UNICEF on Saturday, January 4, 2014.  All are welcome, not just CrossFit 908 members.  Expect an awesome team workout, and don’t be surprised if you see some rope climbs!

Please click here to donate and to learn more about Pita’s upcoming journey.  100% of the funds raised on Pita’s Crowdrise page go to UNICEF.  Thank you for your support!
