Thank you so much for the generous gift. I truly appreciate how you all always seem to find a way to go above and beyond. This past November marked my 5th year at 908, and boy how time flies. Thank you for making these years a blast. I really love what I do, and to be able to work for and work with such an amazing group of people is the icing on the cake. Today’s Workout:
- Skill – EMOM10 – 1 Power Snatch + 1 Hang Power Snatch + 1 Overhead Squat
- Conditioning – 3 Rounds For Time
- 20 Overhead Squats (Sx = 45#/35# – Rx = 75#/55# – CRx = 95#/65#)
- 20 Toes To Bar (Sx = V-Ups)
- Intention – The focus today is on our skill segment. Mixing the power snatch and the hang power snatch is a way for us to understand that pulling from the ground or the hang should yield a similar snatch. We add in the overhead squat for a little extra mobility/stability work. If going overhead is not an option, we can modify to a power clean / hang power clean / front squat. On conditioning choose a weight that you can perform 20 OHS in 2 sets. If proficient on OHS this workout could be unbroken, but pairing two high skill movements together can be deceiving.
- Finisher – 4 Sets – 7 High Pulls Each Arm (3010) + 20 banded tricep extensions
