Crossfit 908 Night Out on Thursday, Aug 4 at The Crossroads in Garwood @ 8:30pm.  One of our members, Jake, will be playing in his band that night.  We should go support him and celebrate the end of a very successful Nutrition challenge and all of the awesome new people at CrossFit 908.

Nutrition Challenge – The winners will be announced next week.  Congratulation to everyone who participated. I think we are going to see some great performance improvements!

New Fundamentals Starts Tuesday, August 2nd @ 6:45pm!  The program will run for 4 weeks and meet Tuesday/Thursday nights from 6:45pm-7:30pm.  Class size is limited to 10 people.  Please contact Tim@CrossFit908.com if you are interested.

Today’s Schedule –

  • Mobility Warm Up
  • WOD – Teams of 2 For Time
    • First Event – The first even will be totally outside.  One partner farmers carries two kettlebells or dumbbells while while lunges. (Men 100+ / Women 50+)   Both partners start in the same location (outside the front door) and proceed as if they were doing a 300m run.  The partner who is doing the farmers carry will run with the kettlebells around the building until he/she catches the person lunging.  The two switch and continue until, as a team, they have lunged a total of two times around the building.  Penalty: If you DROP (not gently put down) the dumbbells or kettlebells outside at any point you and your partner must complete 20 burpees each.  Once completed move to event 2.
    • Second Event – As a team complete the following
      • 100 Air Squats
      • 80 Push Ups
      • 60 Sit Ups
      • 40 Pull Ups
  • Stretch
