01/16/16: Saturday Partner Workout

Nutrition Challenge Update – There have been a lot of questions regarding partners.  We will allow you to pick your own partner as long as it is not your significant other.  In my opinion it would be easy for Erin and I to choose each other, and then when we don’t feel like eating healthy, make a joint decision to say screw it and order Grandma pizza from Clemente’s.  However, if you are with someone who you don’t spend a lot of time with, anytime you “cheat” on the challenge you will be affecting your team’s score and essentially letting your teammate down.  ACCOUNTABILITY.  If you don’t have a partner, we can assign you a partner.  E-mails will go out this weekend with all pertinent information.  Weigh ins will begin on Jan 25 and must be submitted by Feb 1.

Today’s Workout:

  • Strength – 10-8-6-4-2 reps of Deadlift Start @ 60% of 1RM and work up to 90%
  • Conditioning – Teams of 2
    • Pacer – 10 Calorie Row
    • Work –
      • 100 Burpee Box Jump (Sx = 20″/18″ – Rx = 24″/20″)
      • 100 Toes To Bar
  • Finisher – 800M Wtd Run.  Grab an object and go for a run.
