05/10/16: Find a partner!

Registration for Barbells & Beers is open.  This is a co-ed partner competition that we are hosting along with Two Roads Brewing Co.  We are also looking for judges and volunteers!  Please help spread the word to your local CrossFit friends.  The competition is on Saturday, 06/18.  Register here.  

908 Night Out – This Thursday, 05/12 @ 7:30pm.  We will most likely be going to The Stirling Hotel to enjoy the nice weather.  Also, in light of recent news, we will be dedicating the night to Dan F. and send him off in style as he ventures to Boston for the next chapter of his life.  Steve M. we’ll be having some drinks for you too!

Today’s Workout:

  • Strength – Back Squat – 8 @ 65% / 8 @ 70% / 8 @ 75% of 1RM
  • Conditioning – AMRAP8 “Arms Race”
    • 5 Burpees Over the Bar
    • 10 Overhead Squats (Sx = 65#/45# – Rx = 95#/65#)
  • Finisher – 400m Single Arm Overhead Carry – Alternate arms as needed.  Choose a dumbbell or kettlebell that will be challenging.
