From Start to Almost Finish

We started working on the gym on September 3rd. 26 days later (17 of them spent building the gym), and it almost looks like a real CrossFit box. When I first set out to build the gym, I thought all I had to do was lay down rubber mats and build a pull up bar. Well, my good friend and number one helper with this project, Hugo Reis, pointed out that it’s the little things that are important and take the most time. So the rubber mats sat there for weeks in the middle of the floor as we made trip after trip to Home Depot. It was all worth it though because now it looks great. We have had some people work out here and they loved it. I’m really looking forward to opening Saturday and hosting a big workout.

  1. Gillette is my hometown, but I’m currently in the Active Duty Army, so I’ve actually been following CF for a few years now. It’s been upsetting to know that CF isn’t that popular or known where we’re from so I was real excited to hear about CF 908. Hope you guys do well and are still going strong for whenever I’m in the area. I’m excited to check it out!
