04/01/16: Fiveday

Saturday – Classes will be at 7am / 8am / 9am at the New Providence High School track. We will be brining some equipment over, so don’t worry, it won’t be JUST running. The gym will be closed due to an NPGL event we are hosting.  We are hosting a GRID Pro Day where athletes from around the area will come to showcase their skills in the hopes of being noticed by one of the GRID teams.  Spectators welcome!

Today’s Workout:
  • Strength – 5 x 3 Back Squat – All sets should be performed between 80-85%. – 15 min.  Last Back Squat 5 x 5 on 02/23.  You should go heavier across all sets.
  • Conditioning – 5RFT – Time Cap – 25 minutes
    • 10 Box Jumps (Sx = 20″/18″ – Rx = 24″/20″)
    • 10 Chest To Bar Pull Ups (Sx = Banded Chest To Bar)
    • 10 Handstand Push Ups (Sx = Dumbbell Push Press / Rx = Ground)
    • 10 Front Squats (Sx = 75#/55# – Rx = 115#/75# – CRx = 155#/105#)
  • Finisher – 1 Mile Jog
