06/23/10 – One week left to reach a goal!

NOTE REGARDING TODAY’S WORKOUT – It is going to be very hot this afternoon.  Please make sure you stay hydrated today. Make sure you take appropriate rest throughout the workout.

CrossFit Jersey Shore is hosting a warrior challenge on Saturday, July 17 in Avon-by-the-sea.  I think our very own Niel and Dave will be doing the challenge.  Anyone else interested in doing it?  It is an individual challenge but supporting 908 as a team is always a good time.  Post to the comment section.

Schedule –

  • Foam Roll / Mobility Warm Up / Burgener Warm Up
  • Practice Pull ups – Work on your kip.  Complete a total of 20-30 pull ups prior to the workout
  • WOD –
    • Run 5x around building
    • 100 Sit Ups
    • Run 4x
    • 80 Air Squats
    • Run 3x
    • 60 Push Ups
    • Run 2x
    • 40 Pull ups
    • Run 1x
    • 20 Calorie Row
  • Stretch

  1. Sweet world. It’s Sat. only. Registration starts at 7 am, the event goes off at 8. Each event is one at a time. So you do the run 1st. After everyone finishes, you do the burpee challenge. Same for the pullup challenge. Last year, their ‘surprise’ was that we had to do the run with a 40 lb. sandbag (20 for the ladies). It doesn’t mention that on the website this year so who knows.

  3. This workout was brutal but it put me in the best mood. I’m bringing an ipod filled with metal and hardcore for everyone’s listening pleasure tomorrow.

  4. Sorry I missed this one! I was “working” in AC all day, and didnt get home til 30 mins before the last class. No way I could’ve made it. Hopefully another long one comes up soon!
