06/27/16: A Heroic start

We are maxing out our back squat tomorrow, Tuesday.

Today’s Workout:

  • Strength / Skill – 7 x 2 Split Jerk @ 75-80% of 1RM
  • Conditioning – “JT” (Last completed 09/25/15)
    • 21-15-9 reps for time of
      • Handstand Push Ups (Sx = Box HSPU or Dumbbell Strict Press)
      • Ring Dips
      • Push Ups
      • NOTE***JT is a workout where nearly every will reach some level of complete muscular fatigue.  This means you will likely be down to doing very small sets, maybe even singles, on many of the movements.  Go into this workout expecting for this to happen.  Don’t scale right away and don’t change your range of motion.  Challenge yourself and if you are unable to complete a good rep for more than one-minute then you should modify or scale.
  • Finisher – 5 x 10 Bent Over Dumbbell Rows (Double Arm) + :30 Hollow Hold

In honor of Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Jeff Taylor, 30, of Little Creek, VA who was killed in Afghanistan in 2005.
