01/09/17: Sunday Update

Reminder – New classes today – 7am & 8:15pm

We will be maxing out our 5-rep max back squat on Friday!  Be there!

The week ahead:

  • Tue – Triplet
  • Wed – 13.1 – Couplet
  • Thurs – Bench Press + Couplet
  • Fri – 5 rep max Back Squat + Couplet
  • Sat – Partner WOD
  • Sun – Yoga + Open Gym

Today’s Workout:

  • Back Squat – 6 x 6 @ 1-5# heavier than last week.  This is our last squat session before we max out our 5 rep this Friday.
  • Conditioning – AMRAP12
    • 3 Handstand Push Ups (Sx = Box HSPU OR DB Push Press / Rx = Head to Ground / CRx = Deficit or Strict)
    • 3 High Box Jumps (Challenge Yourself)
    • 6 HSPU
    • 6 High Box Jumps
    • 9 HSPU
    • 9 High Box Jumps
    • Continue to add 3 reps to each movement until 12 minutes is reached.
  • Finisher – 4 x 10 KB Side Bends + 15 Wtd Sit Ups
