01/26/17: 16.4

Tonight’s 7:15pm specialty class will be on handstands.  Everything from wall walks, to holds, to walking on your hands.  We will start with the basics and progress.  If you are proficient, you will have the opportunity to work on new skills.

Today’s Workout:

  • Skill – HSPU – Shoulder mobility + 10 min to establish a 5-rep max strict handstand push up.
  • Conditioning – Open Workout 16.4
    • AMRAP13
      • 55 Deadlifts – (Sx = 95#/65# – Rx = 155#/105# – CRx = 225#/155#)
      • 55 Wall Balls (Sx = 14#/10# – Rx = 20# to 10 ft / 14# to 9 ft)
      • 55 Calorie Row
      • 55 Handstand Push Ups (Sx = Box / Rx = Head To Ground)
      • NOTE***This workout is structured as a 13 min amrap, but we would like for you to get as far as you can today, so we will bump the time cap to 20 minutes.  Simply take not of where you are at the 13 min mark if you would like to compare to your 16.4 score from last year.
  • Finisher – 3 x 10 Press Ups + 30 Side Plank Each Side
