Happy 15 Years 908 Athletics

Today marks 15 years since we opened our doors for our first day of classes at CrossFit 908 (now 908 Athletics) in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Since that time we have moved twice, opened and sold a CF gym in Jersey City, opened a second affiliate, CrossFit 908 Central (now 908 Athletics), in Westfield, New Jersey, and finally opened a third gym, Endure Training Co., in Scotch Plains.

While nearly everything has changed since we first opened in 2009 with respect to running an affiliate, one thing that remains constant is the quality of the individuals that have supported us over the years. All members, past and present, have and continue to play a major role in our tenure and reputation, and for that we are forever thankful.

We’ve also had some of the most consistent and dedicated staff that I have ever heard of in the fitness industry. Allen has been with us for 13 years, Jake for 12 years, Kevin for 11 years, and Christina and Sam for 6+ years. We are extremely fortunate to have such a hardworking and loyal team of coaches.

Each year we induct our new 5-year and 10-year members, but this year was special as we were able to induct two 15-year members, Sharon and Pat. I could not think past the first years when I opened CF 908, and now to have two members who have been with us since day one is a truly amazing and humbling accomplishment.

This anniversary is as much about 908 Athletics as it is about all of those who have and continue to be a part of this wonderful community.
